The Christmas Menu
The 2009 Christmas menu will run from the 1st December until the 24th December.

3 Courses £22.00
Starters
Cream of parsnip soup with hazelnut pesto
Crab & smoked salmon roulade with saffron mayonnaise
Parma ham & melon with seared tangerines
Confit duck leg with pickled pears and crispy cabbage
Main Course
Roast turkey with chestnut & apple stuffing, cranberry gravy and bacon rolls
Roast saddle of lamb with spinach & mushrooms with a mint and caper jus
Pan fried fillet of salmon with butternut squash puree, oven roasted tomatoes, rocquet leaves & a soya, honey and ginger dressing
Sweet potato, spinach & puy lentil korma with mushroom braised rice, poppadums and mango chutney

(All main courses are served with a selection of seasonal vegetables and roast new potatoes)

Bara Brith bread & butter pudding with cinnamon ice cream
Chocolate & chestnut cheesecake with poached vanilla pears
