BUTTERTONS - BIG BROWN ICE CREAM
On a quiet country lane set in the Cheshire countryside hides Butterton Lane Farm, where dairy farmer turned ice cream maker Robert Aspden lives and works.
Not only does he milk his herd of pedigree Brown Swiss cows, he then turns the thick creamy milk into delicious ice cream, all freshly made on the farm using natural ingredients.
Robert makes over 30 different flavoured ice creams, which myself and Alex have had the pleasure of tasting, and we both agree that you will struggle to find a better tasting ice cream of this quality.
We are proud to announce that a few of Roberts most popular flavours are now on our menu, with the possibility of adding more in the coming months.
Hope you enjoy the new exclusive ice creams and it would be great to hear what you think.
Roger Gorman, Executive Head Chef

2 cheeses - £6.50 / 4 cheeses - £7.80 / 6 cheeses - £9.85
OLD SHIRE CHEDDAR - Made at south Caernarfon creameries & matured over 15 months, for a well rounded extra mature flavour (Port or Merlot).
GORAU GLAS - Award winning blue vein full fat soft cheese made by Margeret & Catrin Davis at Quirt Farm, Dwyran, Anglesey (Vouvrary).
PEARL WEN BRIE - This brie originates from Caws Cenarth at Boncarth in the Teifi valley. It is creamy in texture with a good rounded flavour and has an edible rind (Vouvray or Bardalino).
DULAS GOATS CHEESE - A fresh local pasteurised goats cheese, from Dulas farm, Isle of Anglesey (Porter Mill or Torea).
TEIFI - Similar to Gouda, Teifi has a bright yellow interior and sweet, fruity flavour when young. As it ages, the cheese becomes hard and flaky. The flavour is influenced by the grasses, flowers & herbs that grow in the meadows of the Teifi Valley (Dame de Montrose).
